For smaller deformation such as bending, preheating of Brass Double Ferrule Fittings should be done in the 212 Degree F – 572 Degree F (100 Degree C – 300 Degree C) temperature range. Brass Ferrule Tube Fittings is best machined in the annealed condition at surface speeds, where post machining decontamination and passivation are recommended.
