The zone of our 5086 aluminum ERW aluminum pipes quickly forms when exposed to high temperatures until it reaches a thickness of 0.001 to 0.002 inches. The oxide zone of these 5052 aluminum round tubes provides the proper diffusion conditions to form a protective layer of chromium oxide on the metal surface.
Sachiya Steel International is one of the prominent suppliers and dealers of our 6063 aluminum square pipes , which also retain good strength and toughness at cryogenic temperatures. These 7075 aluminum rectangular pipe maintain nearly constant dimensions in the normal atmospheric temperature range and have a low coefficient of expansion from cryogenic temperatures to about 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Our 11000 aluminum electro-polished pipes can be hot and cold formed and processed using processes similar to austenitic stainless steels. These 6061 aluminum hexagonal pipes are welded using filler metal, which is available as bare wire for GTAW and GMAW processes.

In order to prevent rust during sea shipment, bundles of Alloy 20 Seamless Pipe may be wrapped with polypropylene sheets, and secured with flat steel bands. Over 3” OD will be supplied loose.
