Stainless Steel 410 Coils is a lower cost alternative to conventional Cr – Ni stainless steels, where nickel is replaced by additions of manganese and nitrogen. Stainless Steel 410 Perforated Coils is resistant to a wide variety of mild to moderately corrosive environments. 410 Stainless Steel Sheets has corrosion resistance approaching that of SS 301 and has been successfully substituted for SS 304 in many mild environments and in many applications. 410 Stainless Steel Plates is essentially nonmagnetic in the annealed condition and becomes magnetic when cold worked.

The annealing temperature for 410 Stainless Steel Coils is between the ranges of 1850 Degree F – 2000 Degree F. Meanwhile, rapid cooling of SS 410 Sheets through the carbide precipitation range (1500 Degree F – 800 Degree F) is necessary to keep the carbides in solution and prevent sensitization. SS 410 Plates is not harden able by thermal treatment and is only harden able by cold working. SS 410 Coils can be welded by all conventional methods applied to 18 percent chromium, 8 percent nickel steels.

Stainless Steel 316 Coils are also chosen for their resistance to stress corrosion cracking, which are further not as formable as austenitic stainless steels.

These Stainless Steel 316L Sheets are magnetic, which cannot be hardened by heat treatment. Stainless Steel 316L Plates are the most common, where their microstructure is derived from the addition of Nickel, Manganese and Nitrogen. These Stainless Steel 316L Coils is the same structure as occurs in ordinary steels at much higher temperatures. This structure gives these Stainless Steel 316 Slating Coils their characteristic combination of weldability and formability.

The molybdenum in Stainless Steel 310H Perforated Coils gives better overall corrosion resistant properties, particularly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. These SS 310H Sheets is the standard molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, second stainless steel in importance to 304. The austenitic structure of SS 310H Plates gives excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.

These SS 310H Coils is readily brake or roll formed, welded, soldered and cut by both thermal and mechanical methods. 310H Stainless Steel Sheets is highly resistant to sensitization (grain boundary carbide precipitation) and so is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components (about 5mm and over).
