Hastelloy C22 Coils (UNS N06022) resists the development of grain boundary precipitates in the weld-heat affected region making it appropriate for use in the as – welded form. Meanwhile, these Hastelloy C22 Slating Coils are also being offered in customized sizes and shapes to our customers. Wrought products of Hastelloy C22 Perforated Coils are supplied in the Mill Annealed (MA) condition, unless otherwise specified. This solution annealing procedure has been designed to optimize the corrosion resistance and ductility of Alloy C22 Sheets.

Following all hot forming operations, Alloy C22 Plates should be re – annealed, to restore optimum properties. Alloy C22 Coils should also be re-annealed after any cold forming operations that result in an outer fiber elongation of 7 % or more. Alloy C22 Slating Coils is stiffer than most austenitic stainless steels, and more energy is required during cold forming. Alloy C22 Perforated Coils also provides guidelines for cold forming, spinning, drop hammering, punching, and shearing.
