A limitation by means of this Stainless Steel 304 Wire is that titanium does not transfer well across a high temperature arc, so is not recommended as a consumable. Our Stainless Steel 304L Coil Wire is the grade of choice for applications in the temperature range of up to about 900 Degree C, combining high strength, resistance to scaling and phase stability with resistance to subsequent aqueous corrosion.

This Stainless Steel 304H Wire is a modification of Stainless Steel 321 Wire by means of a higher carbon content, to provide improved high temperature strength. Like other austenitic grades, our SS 304 have excellent forming and characteristics, are readily brake or roll formed and have outstanding characteristics, where post – weld annealing is not required.

This SS 304L Welding Electrode is a heat resistant, titanium stabilized, austenitic alloy that’s commonly used for service in the 1000 Degree F – 1600 Degree F temperature range. Our SS 304H Wire is primarily used in applications that involve continuous and intermittent service temperatures within the carbide precipitation range of 800 Degree F – 1500 Degree F.
