The 202 Stainless Steel Pipe is made up of austenitic stainless steel of grade 202. It has around 16% min chromium and 0.5% min nickel in its chemical composition. This is a non-magnetic stainless steel that can get rusted in coastal areas. Hence the SS 202 Square Tube is not suitable for marine applications. It is ideal for use in those environments where there is no air corrosion or industrial pollution. It shows great toughness, especially at lower temperatures. The Stainless Steel Pipe 202 Grade material is a precipitation hardening grade which possesses high harness and strength. It has a high min tensile strength of 515 Mpa and min yield strength of 275 MPa.

Stainless Steel 316L Pipes is the standard molybdenum-bearing grade, second in importance to SS 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels. The molybdenum gives Stainless Steel 316L Pipes better overall corrosion resistant properties than Stainless Steel 304, particularly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. Stainless Steel 316L Pipes has excellent forming and welding characteristics. It is readily brake or roll formed into a variety of parts for applications in the industrial, architectural, and transportation fields.

Stainless Steel 316L Pipes also has outstanding welding characteristics. Post-weld annealing is not required when welding thin sections. Stainless Steel 316L Pipes, the low carbon version of SS 316 and is immune from sensitization (grain boundary carbide precipitation).Stainless Steel 316L Pipes, SS 316H, with its higher carbon content has application at elevated temperatures, same as SS 316Ti which is a Titanium stabilized grade .SS 316N is nitrogen enhanced with greater strength than SS 316.

Stainless Steel 316L Pipes is made up of an austenitic stainless steel that has chromium, nickel and molybdenum in its composition with low carbon content than the 316 grade. The low carbon content of the pipes makes it easier for welding applications. The Stainless Steel 316L Pipes is used in aqueous applications where chloride ion corrosion is high. The SS 316L Welded Pipe is available in sizes ranging from 6 to 100 inches. These pipes are used in high-temperature and pressure systems depending on their grade and thickness. The 316L SS ERW Pipe is manufactured by welding a strip spirally or from end to end. These pipes exhibit roughness and are not accurate compared to seamless pipes. They can be easily machined due to the rough surface.

They can be subjected to a cold rolling process to give them desired properties. The WNR. 1.4404 Polished Pipe is a by-product of the cold-rolling process. This allows the pipe to have a smooth surface as well as increases its corrosion resistance. In addition to being easy to pocket, Gi pipe are corrosion resistant, lightweight, easy to use during transport and easy to add. Welded pipes shall be manufactured from hot rolled steel strip for welded pipes and pipes in accordance with IS 10748 or cold rolled low carbon steel sheets and strips in accordance with IS-513.

Steel pipes shall be produced by one of the following processes:

ASTM A312: Seamless and straight-seam welded austenitic pipe intended for high temperature and general corrosive service. Filler metal not permitted during welding.

ASTM A358: Electric fusion welded austenitic pipe for corrosive and/or high temperature service. Typically only pipe up to 8 inch is produced to this specification. Addition of filler metal is permitted during welding.

ASTM A790: Seamless and straight-seam welded ferritic/austenitic (duplex) pipe intended for general corrosive service, with a particular emphasis on resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
