Alloy C276 One End Threaded Nipple also resists formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat affected zone making it useful for most chemical processes in the as – welded condition. Hastelloy C276 Both End Threaded Nipple has excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking, where its larger sizes are available in welded construction and can also be fabricated to order.
Hastelloy C276 Concentric Swaged Nipple with tight tolerances can be supplied in almost any size no matter how small the size or quantity. Its valuable combination of high strength, good corrosion resistance and toughness in both base metals and welds of Hastelloy C276 Eccentric Swaged Nipple gives designers opportunities to add reliability to their products while simplifying fabrication and often reducing costs. Alloy C276 Hexagon Reducing Nipple has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in the lower strength conditions, where high strength is maintained to approximately 600 Degree F (316 Degree C).
